GOLDEN STATE KENNEL

Golden State Kennel is a small operation, located in Santa Barbara County that specialized in the world's most versatile breed, The American Pitbull Terrier.

It is our firm belief that temperament is the number one priority for this breed, and none of our dogs are sold, or bred for any illegal purposes. GSK uses a specialized imprinting process that begins at birth. We socialize and expose all puppies to different environments (people,noises,textures,smells and other dogs) to instill a well balanced dog. At about 8 weeks of age we begin a more formal imprinting process and continue the process until the puppy is placed into a home.

Golden State Kennel offers 6 week classes free of charge when you purchase a puppy from us. We encourage all our customers to certify their dogs in AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Temperament Test (TT). There is no need not to have an excellence, and working ability, (conformation, weightpull, obedience, therapy dog) for this wonderfull breed.
